Typically, these devices comprise a planar display including a glass substrate on which an organic light-emitting layer is deposited on the substrate. The glass substrate has a transparent conductor deposited thereon which is patterned to form a matrix of cathode and anode lines crossing each other and perpendicular to the direction of the cathode and anode lines. An organic light-emitting layer is arranged between the cathode and anode lines. In most applications the planar display is glued to a supporting substrate to form a display panel. The supporting substrate may be any rigid material such as glass or plastics, but is often formed from transparent plastic (for example, epoxy acrylics or polycarbonates). The distance between the display panel and the supporting substrate is often referred to as the substrate gap. A critical aspect of an OLED display is the substrate gap. Too large a substrate gap results in light being trapped in the substrate gap. The trapped light cannot be easily removed. This can result in visible and/or non-visible defects of the display. To reduce substrate trapping, the substrate is usually bonded to the supporting substrate. For example, the substrate may be bonded using an adhesive. Adhesives, however, may generate light. For example, UV sensitive adhesive materials may emit light in response to being exposed to light (such as sunlight). For example, materials with high UV absorption, such as PMMA are suitable for bonding substrate and supporting substrate. However, PMMA is usually a non-conductive material which may prevent electrons from passing through. Conductive adhesives are often used to reduce trapping. Conductive adhesives often allow electrons to pass therethrough. For example, conductive epoxies provide adequate electron passage as do conductive polycarbonate resins. However, these materials are often opaque and require further processing to reduce opacity. In some cases, these materials require high temperatures which may result in deformation of the display substrate and supporting substrate. It is desirable to have an adhesive which is conductive and provides adequate electron passage and which does not require high temperature
