Best way to push a large number of rows in sub-query?
I have a table (material) that contains ~60k rows with a few columns. One of those columns is “code”. I’m trying to run a query that selects the row that has the minimum timestamp (table is sorted by timestamp). In doing so, I’m getting an error. The error is:
ERROR: current transaction is aborted, commands ignored until end of transaction block
I’m guessing this is a timeout issue. To avoid this, I’m wondering what the best practice is in terms of handling this. I’m trying to avoid using a cursor if possible.
